The people wanna know what date we’re doing before 6/14 so we can announce then! Comment, discuss! Need to know what the top contenders are before a ranked choice vote can be set up.

Please also comment about how frequently you want to mobilize during this period (should we have a July date and an August date, or just one date?)
Our state does best with weekend events. We had 100k protesters on 4/5, but have had local conflicts with going big on 4/19 and 6/14. We would really like the opportunity to align with a national date on a weekend. I agree with those who say July 4th weekend will be hard to draw a crowd – and it could be bad optics (are we protesting the birth of our nation?). I’d prefer any other weekend in July or August.
